Benefits of Doula Support
More than thirteen scientific studies have shown that when doulas care for women in labor, they are likely to have shorter labors, fewer medical interventions, fewer epidurals, fewer cesareans and healthier babies. Many professional and government groups have recognized the valuable service that doulas provide.
